Suggestions

I need a couple suggestions from my readers! I am looking for a way to make a little extra money while I am back in school for the fall semester. My school work is very demanding so I won't have a ton of free time. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am currently thinking about setting up a shop on etsy.com and selling some of the jewelry and other items I make. My only problem is, I don't know if it is worth it. Has anyone sold stuff on Etsy before? Is it hard to get people to start noticing your items? I feel like this might be my best option but i don't want to spend money buying materials and then not be able to sell anything. So, any suggestions or tips from Etsy users is greatly appreciated!!!

If you have any other suggestions, please feel free to comment!

Thanks,
Steph

Lately

Lately, I have been so busy working that I feel like I have had no time to do anything else! I am currently working on some new projects that I can't wait to share once they are completed!

My first big project is redoing my bedroom. I call it "Operation No More Blue Walls". When I was about 12, I decided I wanted to paint my walls bright blue, but now that I am older, they are definitely not my style! So, I am completely redecorating! I will be sharing before and after pictures once everything is cleaned and painted!

I have also been working on some smaller projects. I made some new jewelry and will be posting some quick easy tutorials once I have time to sit down and write them! I am also making some decorations to go with my new room so those will also be posted once I have some free time!

Until next time,
Steph

Google+

So, a couple of days ago, I got a Google+ invite and I was super excited. I could not wait to try out the new website. But, Google+ kept saying it was over capacity every time I actually tried to join. After, a lot of trying, I was FINALLY able to register! I was so excited that I started screaming. (My mom thought I had gone crazy) So far, I love the site. The only real downfall I see right now is that I don't have a lot of friends on it, so it is a little boring. I am sure that will be better once more people are invited. I am still trying to figure the whole thing out, but once I figure out how to use some of the cool features, I will definitely fill you all in!

However, if you are dying to try it out for yourself, leave your email in a comment and I will send you an invite! Google+ only allows invites to be sent out at certain times. Right now, invites are closed. As soon as invites open back up, I will send out as many invites as I can, so be sure to leave your email in a comment. Invites sometimes can take a little bit to show up in your inbox. They, also, can take a little bit to actually work. This is Google's way to keep growth slow.

UPDATE: I will be sending the invites to my followers first and then to other people who leave comments. So please follow to receive your invite sooner. I will try to send invites to every person that leaves a comment but there is no guarantee. You never know when Google will turn invites back off. If invites do get turned off and not everyone got an invite, I will send out the rest when invites reopen.

Have a great weekend!

Busy Week!

Wow... I have had a busy week of working! Since I am on break from school, I have been working to earn money for the school year.

Today, my guilty pleasure started... Big Brother!!! Does anybody else watch Big Brother? If so, we will have to discuss everything that happens over the season! I don't know why the show is so addicting! Maybe it's all the backstabbing and drama! ;)

So far, this whole blogging thing has surprised me. I love getting on and checking how many views I have each day and I can honestly say I am starting to get addicted! Seeing that I have had views from other countries is amazing to me. So, if you are from another country and are reading this, please feel free to comment and introduce yourself! I also am completely shocked that I have actually been getting comments! Thanks everyone for taking time out of your day to read my blog and I promise to check out everyone's blogs and comment when I get some time off!

Be Back Soon!

My Visit to Spain in Pictures

While I am still trying to figure this blog thing out, I figured I would post some pictures from one of my favorite memories.

A couple of years ago, I got the opportunity to travel to Spain with a group from my high school. I am in the first one in my family to travel to a country outside of North America. This was an amazing experience that I will always remember and cherish. After my trip to Spain, I decided I would love to travel to all different countries when I get older.

If you can't tell from the pictures, I am working towards my Masters Degree in Architecture.

Please read the previous post if you are new to my blog!

Until next time...

Introduction

I am not really sure if anyone is reading this, but I figured the right way to start any blog was to introduce myself.

I have never written a blog before, so bear with me.

Let's start with the basics. My name is Stephani (or Steph). I live in Kansas, but I am definitely not a country girl. I do NOT live on a farm or even near one. I am currently a full time college student. I am not very good at English or spelling, so I guess it is a good thing that my major doesn't require a lot of English classes. My free time is mostly spent with my friends and family. I love to read and do crafts. One day, I hope to travel the world and see some of the wonderful things that I learn about in school.

There is a couple reasons why I decided to start a blog. The first reason is because I want to interact with people I normally wouldn't in my everyday life. I figured the Internet is the easiest way to do that. The second reason is I want to document some of my feelings and events that are happening in my life right now. People say that the years you spend in college are some of the best years of your life, so I want to always have some of my memories documented. My final reason for creating this blog is to give others a look into my life. Not that I think everyone (or even a couple people) actually want to read about my life, but you never know.

Like I said before, I am new to this and could use some tips. So, if anyone is reading this, please feel free to leave any helpful hints in the comments section! Also, please answer the poll on the top right of the page (above the About Me section), so I can figure out what people are interested in me writing about! If you select other, please go into detail in a comment.

Thanks for reading!

Steph
